Ma Po Tofu——A Sichuan classic with a distinctive aftertaste!

We sliced the tofu into small pieces of even size, put into the water to blanch its bean odor. Heat a wok with a large amount of oil, add the Pixian bean paste with green onions and ginger and minced meat and stir, then pour in the tofu. Then, add boiling water in the wok, so that each piece of tofu in the rich sauce to simmer and flavor. After three to five minutes, pour in the liquid starch and thicken the sauce slightly over high heat. Serve out of the wok, sprinkled with grounded Sichuan pepper and green onions!

A mouthful of this dish is filled with the double aroma of bean paste and tofu, and the freshness of pepper and numbness lingers in your heart, bringing you back to Sichuan in one second!
